has always been passionate about helping others, which is why she thoroughly enjoys advocating for consumers at Friendship Place as Residential Services Case Manager. Dara is 

a John F. Kennedy University graduate with an M.A. in Holistic Health & Psychology, and has a B.A. in Psychology from Goucher College. Before joining the Friendship Place team, she served as Quality Assurance Director and Senior Case Manager at the Rock Creek Foundation (affiliated with ASG). There, she served adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness. Most recently, Dara was Executive Assistant and Office Manager for The Peninsula Group. Although she is a New York City native, Dara has spent time all over the country - from Cleveland, OH to San Francisco and Pasadena, CA. But, in 2001, Dara decided to call DC "home", and has been here ever since. 

In her spare time, Dara enjoys movies, travel, art galleries, antique shows, hiking and environmental advocacy.
